4th of July
Parade - Give a Child a Flag to Wave |
 |
The Flagstaff Exchange Club's
"Give A Child A Flag to Wave" program was designed
to instill American pride and patriotism at an early
age.
"And what
better event than the Fourth of July Parade
to do
that!" said Bill Terrill, a long time Exchange Club
member.
Each
year, the Flagstaff Exchange Club leads on the
community parade handing out American flags to
children along the parade route.

Z-Exchange
Event |
 |
It's a fun
event attended by community members who receive a
steak dinner, entertainment, valuable prizes and a
lot of fun in exchange for a donation to our
service
projects.The
Z-exchange is our biggest fund-raising event of
the
year.
Why is it called the
'Z-Exchange'? Well, in earlier years, the grand
prize was a Datsun Z sportscar. If any sponsor
is willing to donate a prize of such magnitude (in
today's dollars, of course) we would
gladly consider
renaming the event :). |

Youth of the
Year Awards |
| |
A student from
each of the three Flagstaff high schools is chosen
as "Youth of the Month" based on an essay and
recommendations. "Youth of the Year" awards
are presented at the close of each school year.
These students then compete on the regional level
and can progress all the way to the National Youth
of the Year competition |
